This afternoon, our 6th grade students had the opportunity to video chat with author, illustrator, and Pixar animator Sanjay Patel. As part of our 6th grade ELA Wit & Wisdom curriculum, students read The Ramayana: Divine Loophole. During today’s visit, Sanjay shared how he discovered his passion for drawing and writing and how he retold a well-known story from his culture in a creative way. Students were able to submit questions, and several were selected to ask Sanjay their questions directly. It was an amazing and memorable experience for all of our students!
