Dear Rohrerstown Families & Friends,

As I come to the end of an amazing career as principal of Rohrerstown Elementary School, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to our amazing students, families, staff, and community. Tuesday, June 30, will be my last official day as principal. While saying goodbye is bittersweet, I leave with a full heart of wonderful memories and tremendous confidence in the future of Rohrerstown Elementary. I know our school is in excellent hands with an outstanding team of teachers, staff, and parents who will continue to do whatever it takes to ensure the success of every student. We are ROHRERSTOWN STRONG!

For the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of watching children grow into confident, kind, and capable young people. Along the way, we celebrated accomplishments, navigated challenges together, and were continually inspired by the strength, kindness, and support of our Rohrerstown community. It is this extraordinary community that makes Rohrerstown such a special place.

A special part of this role has been the pleasure of working alongside our incredible PTO. I want to extend my deepest and most heartfelt thanks to the dedicated parents and family members who have generously given their time, talents, and energy to support Rohrerstown Elementary. Your commitment to our students, staff, and school community has made a lasting impact. Thank you for the countless hours you have volunteered, the events you have organized, and the many additional experiences you have provided our children. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated. From the bottom of my heart—THANK YOU!

Thank you for trusting me with your children and allowing me to be part of their educational journey. I am so grateful to have been part of this incredible community. I wish you continued success, happiness, and good health.

With gratitude,

Kathleen H. Swantner

Principal

Rohrerstown Elementary

The Mountville Youth Athletic Association has been providing youth athletic programs since 1983. We’re proud to offer historic baseball fields—many with field lights and concessions—along with a rich tradition of developing players who go on to compete for Hempfield High School and beyond. Our program provides a great atmosphere for kids to learn, grow, and make friends.

Any child who lives in Hempfield School District is eligible to enroll. We look forward to another great season!
